Transforming operational expertise into AI-enabled learning and knowledge support

A pilot ecosystem explored how workflows, documentation and subject-matter expertise could be converted into scalable onboarding and knowledge resources.

Context

The situation

Operational expertise was available across process maps, service-level information, technical documentation and experienced employees. However, learning and knowledge access still relied heavily on manual explanation and the availability of subject-matter experts.

Approach

Making the work explicit

The pilot brought together more than 150 workflow maps, operational documentation, service-level and specification information, a detailed subject-matter transcript, frequently asked questions and process guidance.

The trial included approximately five weeks of knowledge capture, a rapid prototype build, approximately 50 representative questions and a supporting playbook.
